Matteo Pugliese was born in Milan on the eighth of November 1969. After a long period spent in Sardinia, in 1996 he graduated from Milan University in Modern Literature with a thesis on art criticism regarding the world of comics.
During his time at university, he made sculptures and models of film and comic strip characters for Walt Disney and Warner Bros licensee companies.
He occasionally works on a freelance basis with the major advertising companies in Milan: Armando Testa, Bates Italia, McCann-Erickson etc.
He produces characters and objects which are then photographed and used in press campaigns.
